At the Australasian Women in Emergencies (AWE) Network, we believe in connecting, promoting and recognising women’s contributions to emergency management and disaster resilience.
Since the Australasian Women in Emergencies (AWE) Network was founded by three passionate women in 2018, we’ve come a long way. We’ve grown to have more than 1,100 members. Expanded to New Zealand and the Pacific. Established state and territory chapters with inspiring chapter leads and connected with each other at number of events.
AWE has brought together a network of amazing women like you who believe in celebrating and supporting the contributions women make to emergency management and disaster resilience, and it’s time to do more.
Our goal this October is to raise $10,000. That’s just $10 from each member and with your support we can make it happen.
Why a crowdfunder?
AWE has grown fast and demonstrated that women across our region see the value in being supported by this network. Your financial support can take things to the next level and help set up:
· A new mentoring program to support members at different career stages
· More scheduled events that bring us together to connect and learn
· An upgraded AWE website to be the central hub of our network – complete with a member directory, chapter pages, event and mentoring info, a resource library, blogs, news, forums and more.
Our progress so far wouldn’t have been possible without you. Thank you.
Your contribution today can help AWE grow. Donate now and let’s raise $10,000 to continue our AWEsome journey together.
