Imagine being a kid and walking into a day that was built entirely for you. A day where you are surrounded by people who showed up to celebrate exactly who you are.

That’s the day we’re building. We are ATX 18. A team of leaders committed to creating love, abundance, and unity — in ourselves and in our communities. On Saturday, June 13, that vision becomes real: a free, all-day youth empowerment event in Austin for kids.

For one full day, kids step away from screens and into something real. We create love by making them feel seen, supported, and celebrated. We create abundance by opening doors to art, regenerative farming, play, and real life skills. And we create unity by bringing our team, local Austin organizations, volunteers, and kids together in one shared day of service.

They’ll also create something bigger than themselves — a collaborative art “masterpiece” that stands as proof of what a community can build when it shows up for its kids. They’ll kneel in the soil and watch something grow because of them. They’ll lose themselves in stories, run, move, laugh, and feel completely free to be who they are.

We’re raising money to put on this event and to support all the local Austin organizations coming out to make it happen — so they can carry the ripple of impact forward long after the day is over, turning one day of connection into something that keeps reaching kids across our community for months and years to come.

Because here’s what we know: once a child knows themselves as creative, capable, connected to the earth, and held by a whole community, no one can ever take that away. That spark stays. It grows. It becomes the thing they reach for on their hardest days.
