Austin Community Fundraiser Masks for the Homeless
Donation protected
Judge Michael Coffey, who is the judge of the Downtown Austin Community Court has put out a request for safety masks for our unhoused neighbors that he regularly helps through is court.
Hundreds of our most vulnerable citizens have no way to protect themselves during this global pandemic. We are a community and are not going to sit back and watch other people in our city have no protection against this outbreak, and potentially spread this virus further.
Years from now we will be defined by what we did to help save other humans- please contribute as much as you can and be a part of the solution.
A local company, SAVILINO , has stepped up and offered to partner with us, offered us a lowered rate and expedited delivery! Savilino has been able to employ 30+ out of work tailors, so far, to produce face masks for our communities. Help us provide jobs and masks to our neighbors.
SPREAD MASKS, NOT VIRUSES!
* We have 5 days before the masks arrive and we need to reach our goal — please contribute anything you can.
Let’s save some lives❤️ Please share!
