Augustine Yuriar Guerrero, lovingly known as “Gusy” or “Augie,” was a devoted father, grandfather, and the heart of our family. He was a fitness fanatic and workaholic who found joy in the outdoors—whether hiking, camping, fishing, biking, or helping friends with projects like restoring a sailboat. Augustine’s greatest pride was being a girl-dad to his daughters, Nevaeh and Celina, and a doting grandfather to baby Noah. He worked tirelessly to ensure his family was cared for, always encouraging them to work hard, stay humble, and pursue their dreams.
Augustine’s sudden passing has left a tremendous void in our lives, especially for his daughters and grandson. Nevaeh, 19, has just started a healthcare program in San Jose, California, and recently welcomed her first child, Noah. Celina, 11, is continuing her education in Mexico. Augustine’s support was crucial for their tuition and daily living expenses, and we want to honor his legacy by ensuring his children and grandson have the opportunities he worked so hard to provide.
Funds raised will go directly toward Nevaeh’s and Celina’s tuition expenses, as well as living costs for the family. Augustine always believed in seeking knowledge, perfecting new skills, and reaching for your goals. By supporting this fundraiser, you’re helping his daughters and grandson continue on the path he set for them—one of hard work, education, and hope for the future. I will be managing the funds to make sure they are used for Nevaeh, Noah, and Celina’s needs, just as Augustine would have wanted.
