As a city, We have been waiting a long time to get a great skatepark. The City of Augusta is really pushing to get this done for us. They have allocated $95,000 for the project. This won't pay for everything. In order to get the skate park we truly deserve, we are going to need to raise some more money. Every single bit of this money will go towards the skatepark. I want us to have the best park we can for our town. Something kids and adults can enjoy for years! If you are able to donate please do. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for any little bit you can give.
We currently have $236,000 raised for the park. This will be enough to complete the design. We are still raising money to build some benches or shade structures.
All money raised is going to an account setup by Erica Jones the City Clerk/Director of Finance for the City of Augusta specifically for the skatepark.
Spohn Ranch has been chosen to design the park!
