Support Castro Media: Amplify Underrepresented Voices

Castro Media is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit working to unite voices and amplify change.

Our mission is to highlight local events and news by bringing together thought leaders and content creators to build a shared brand, enabling those with larger platforms to uplift worthy rising voices.

This nonprofit started as a way for large content creators to lift smaller creators and amplify their voice and message, especially as it relates to under-represented perspectives from community leaders with perspectives to share on current events and the impact of bad policy on their communities.

We have already launched an online store where contributors can post designs for stickers, tee shirts, etc and have the profits after fulfillment costs go to a worthy cause specified by the contributor. This is a great way to donate while showing support for the local causes you believe in!

We are also building Klept.org to document spectacular instances of the rising kleptocracy.

Our Social Murder Institute is already live. We published original research showing that on top of tripling muni ticketing, the mayor has moved 84.8% of enforcement to exclusively target minority groups across the city.

We will also be hosting live stream round tables with community leaders to discuss current events from the perspective of under-represented groups.

All of this costs money, and none of us are getting paid. Please give what you can to support our ability to deliver these important and meaningful programs for our community!
