The Ramos Family

Donation protected
Recently the separation of families at the border has been a large talking point. However, it isn't just happening at the border. It is everywhere and we are turning a blind eye to it. If you are part of the Georgia Soccer community you probably known Amaury Ramos or his dad Mauricio Ramos.
I have known Amaury since we were like 10 years old. I met him through soccer and also had to opportunity to meet his dad several times. His dad is an amazing person who coached soccer and always did his best to help his players grow as people as well as better soccer players. He was always a positive influence on the community and did his best to help everyone around him. Now it is our turn.
Mauricio was recently deported back to Mexico. His wife was involved in a car crash a few weeks ago and now they are trying to deport her on the charge of driving without a license. Amaury is currently doing the best he can at 19 years old to support his 2 younger brothers, aged 14 and 10 respectively. He is working 7 days a week trying to make enough money to take care of his brothers, get food, pay the bills, and pay legal fees in a fight to keep his mom in the country.
His situation and circumstances are unenviable. They are terrible. Let's join together as a community and at least bring awareness to this heartbreaking situation. I have set a goal of $5,000 dollars to help Amaury and his family deal with our situation. Yes, our. All of us are effected by what is going on with his family. Please donate what you can! Even if you can't donate anything, please share this link.
