In the Rio Grande Valley, young adults with autism face a silent challenge. Schools may teach academics, but when it comes to real-world confidence, social skills, and independence, there are no programs in place. After graduation, many adults with autism are left navigating life without the tools, support, or community they need to thrive.
That’s where Atypical Masterminds comes in—a first-of-its-kind mastermind group designed to fill a gap no one else is addressing. Instead of focusing only on education or therapy, this program creates a new space of opportunity: a community where autistic adults can grow into confident, socially capable, and empowered individuals.
✨ What makes Atypical Masterminds different?
It’s not therapy. It’s a growth-driven environment where peers build each other up.
It’s not school. It’s real-world practice—confidence in conversations, social settings, and goal achievement.
It’s not just a support group. It’s a mastermind: a structured system where participants learn, share, and succeed together.
Through this unique approach, participants will:
✅ Attend weekly mastermind sessions for personal and social growth.
✅ Track their progress with journals and guided reflection.
✅ Connect daily in an online community for encouragement.
✅ Join community outings to practice confidence in real-world spaces.
✅ Participate in events to inspire the Valley.
The outcome? Atypical Masterminds will turn adults with autism into confident individuals who are not just surviving—but striving toward their goals, social life, and making a positive impact to the RGV.
Your support will fuel this movement by covering startup costs: journals, Zoom subscriptions for lessons, meeting space rentals, and community events.
With your help, autistic adults in the Valley will finally have something they’ve never had before: a program focused on confidence, connection, and belonging.
