My son Atticus, has MPS 1 also known as Hurler Syndrome. Its a genetic disorder where he is missing a very important enzyme he needs to live. Without the enzyme he cannot break down complex sugar molecules. As they have no where to go they build up and the waste will deteriorate his bones, organs, and his nervous system without treatment. There is no cure, all we can hope to do is get him help so he can live as comfortably as possible. We are raising money for living expenses so we can get him the care he needs.
