I am a grieving mother seeking financial support with the costs of travel, accommodation and food while attending the out of province court proceedings for my son’s murder.

I’ve been informed that I have an estimated 8 weeks of court proceedings in intervals ahead of me for the upcoming months. I’ve been attending the proceedings to date but I’m on a tight budget and fear the inability to continue attending due to a lack of funds. This has lead me to reach out for your support. I’m very hopeful this year will bring closure without anymore extensions or delays, as it’s already been two years.

The distance that I must travel to attend each proceeding is about 1300 kms entailing me to have fuel, accommodation and food while away.

It is crucial that I attend every proceeding as it is allows me to represent my sweet son, the victim in this tragic case. Also, the impact of my presence in court is very important. The thought of not being able to see it through to the end for my son is heartbreaking and terrifying to me.
