Hi everyone,

I am seeking financial support to attend the continuing and numerous upcoming court proceedings for the horrific murder of my son Lee. I live out of province of the proceedings and the costs to attend have exceeded my income.

I’ve attended all proceedings for the past two years up to date and fear the inability to continue attending due to a lack of funds. I’ve been informed that I have an estimated 8-9 weeks of court proceedings in intervals still ahead of me for the upcoming months. The lack of funds for travel, accommodation and food has lead me to reach out for your support in hopes that I can continue to attend. I’m very hopeful this year will bring closure without anymore extensions or delays, as we’ve already stepped in to the third year.

The distance that I must travel to attend each proceeding is close to 1300 kms return. It is crucial that I continue attending as I’ve been told by the prosecutor that my presence has a greater impact on the judge and jury’s decisions. The thought of not being able to see this through is extremely worrisome and heartbreaking for me.
