Atoke Foundation

My name is Sharon Bolaji-Thomas and I am the founder of Atoke Foundation. The desire to help those in need has led me to volunteer my time and resources to causes benefitting others. Through the generosity of friends and co-workers, we have awarded scholarships to 14 high school students, covering school fees and supplies, uniforms and most importantly lunch every day, the only meal some of the students have for the day. Most of these kids come from extremely poor households and might have dropped out of school were it not for the scholarships.

Sharon met with the kids in August of 2022 and they shared how motivated they were to achieve their goals and eventually be able to pay it forward by helping generations coming after them. Most would like to pursue careers in medicine, pharmacy, law and accounting if given a chance.

Several other kids need this kind of support, but we have not been able to help due to limited resources. The foundation is also committed to helping single mothers, victims of domestic violence and abandoned senior citizens. 100% of the funds donated go to the beneficiaries. Donated funds will be used to continue the scholarships and other support mechanisms. We plead for your support of this worthy effort.
