Atkinson Plaza Automatic Door Opener
Dear Owners and Residents of Atkinson Plaza:
I have created this page in order to collect and track donations to assist our neighbor Marie Louise. Recently, she made a request to the Board of Directors to have an automatic door opener installed at the front lobby door. Her request was approved; however, it must be installed at her expense.
She has worked closely with the Board and the property manager from Hawaiiana and we are happy to inform you that the parts have been ordered and the installation should be completed very soon.
Since this automatic door opener will benefit everyone, she would like to ask for your help in helping to pay for the installation. There are some other residents who also require special assistance as well as those of you who do not require any special assistance that this new improvement could benefit. It will be helpful to those who need a little help as well convenient when carrying groceries or other items where having your hands free would be helpful.
Please consider donating to help her pay for this installation. Any amount you can give will help. You can donate here on gofundme, or by cash or check to Gary, our Resident Manager who will take up the collection. The total cost is $3,430.00. The invoice will go to Marie Louise and she will pay it using any donations received.
