Twenty five years ago, Rob Atkins left the security of the working world, and started Atkins Curling Supplies.

Atkins Curling Supplies has always been the "little guy" in the local curling supply business. And even a “little guy” like Atkins Curling Supplies can make a difference. He gives you a choice in where you shop. He sponsors local curlers, curling teams, and clubs. He supports you through his sponsorship and advertising of the MCA bonspiel, the Manitoba Curling Tour, the Atkins Curling Classic, Manitoba Firefighters Curling and many other smaller events and organizations through the years.

But like many small businesses, the pandemic has been very challenging for Rob's business. Overnight in March 2020, store sales declined 80/90%.

Expenses did not. Rent, heat, insurance, inventory costs, accounting, advertising and some salary costs must continue. And while appreciated, Government support has only gone so far.

Your financial support will mainly be used to pay rent through to the Fall. By that time, stores will be allowed to re-open fully, customers will return, and sales will increase.

You can give Atkins Curling Supplies a decent chance at survival. Without your help, this is unlikely.

Rob has given to the curling community over the past 25 years. It is time for us to give a little back, so he can continue to be a great supporter of curlers in Manitoba.
