At about 6 weeks old, Mason was rushed to the hospital after he stopped breathing and a tracheostomy tube was placed to make sure this little guy could breath.
5 years later, on August 2, 2018 the surgeons at CHOP were able to rebuild his "floppy trachea" and remove the tracheostomy.
It is now a few weeks later, and Mason is still at CHOP. This MIGHTY guy has been through a lot, including, a chest tube (now removed), NG tube (to help him eat), many bronchoscopies (to check his trachea), and TOO MANY boring days at the hospital!
Mason's recovery will be a long bumpy road, his parents, Nikki and Adam, have had to take leave from work to be there for there for him.
With them being off work, and losing income, bills are piling up. We are looking and asking for help to relieve them of this burden, so they can focus all of their attention on Mason recovery.
We are so thankful for everyone's help and prayers for Mason and his family during this time. We promise to keep everyone updated. Love to everyone.
