Hi! I'm Sheena and my daughter is Athena. She has Marinesco-Sjögren syndrome. It affects her eyes, muscle coordination, strength, ability to walk, and more.

Athena is 12 and in 6th grade. She is the sweetest little love. She uses a wheelchair to get around everywhere.

Over the years, we have been picking her up to transfer her into our vehicle (current vehicle is a 1999 yukon, with issues)to go anywhere. She is 12 and 70 lbs now, so it is only getting more difficult to lift and transfer her. We also have to pick up her wheelchair and place it in the back of the vehicle.

We have always had the dream of a van or SUV that has a ramp and is wheelchair accessible. However even with both of us working , we are unable to afford one. This would make it so much easier to take her to doctor appointments and school, as well as everywhere else.

However, we don't have the funds to make it happen. Therefore, I am asking for help. Help in making this dream come true. Help with making life easier for my daughter and us.

Every donation is greatly appreciated and will go towards a vehicle with a ramp that we will be able to wheel her right into.
