Dear Asylum Family and Friends,
We need your help,
Asylum Skatepark opened 10 years ago and throughout these last 10 years we have helped to provide a safe and encouraging environment for kids of all ages to create life long memories and have held some amazing events for everyone in the Skateboarding, BMX, Scooter and the Inline communities.
WHAT HAPPENED: On March 17th 2020 we were forced by Governor of Illinois to close our business due to Covid-19 Corona virus pandemic. Due to the forced closure it has interfered with the remainder of our 2020 season that usually helps to carry us through the summer season until next fall.
WHATS NEEDED: This is where we need your help. We look forward to opening our doors back to the public as soon as we are allowed to by the local authorities, however in our current financial state we are forced to humbly ask for your help because our operational costs and rent have not stopped throughout this season.
We want to continue to provide you with an awesome place when you stepped back into the Skatepark.
WHAT HAVE WE DONE: We have already applied for the Economic Injury Disaster Loan and business funding, however the process is very slow and they ran out of money. So we need any help we can get NOW!
Thank you in advance for any donations and support, any amount is welcome and your generous donation will be used to pay our operational costs, rent, utilities, and employees since March-May that take approx $50k to cover our expenses.
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP: You are welcome to support us online by visiting our online skateshop at Asylum Skateshop Online
It's gonna take a lot of work and a lot of time but we are willing to do our part. We hope you're willing to help.
Please contact us directly at any of the links below for any and all information about how you can help by sponsorship or advertising with the park.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
