Astoria Mom in need

Here is the exact message I received from a mom (who wishes to remain anonymous) in my community:

"this is embarrassing for me... but I'm I am a single person, I have no family here, I am desperate, someone knows if there is any job I can do from home (crossing my fingers) I have a 14-month-old baby and I only have diapers for two more weeks, I am still breastfeeding, but I only make one meal a day, I feel that I no longer produce the same amount of milk ... unfortunately I will not receive help, because I am not legal in this country, I do not know what to do... I lot my job in the restaurant and I have no family here, and the place that the person who rented with me the apartment... left yesterday...and she didn't give me her part of the rent... she don't told me nothing and one month she was paying for electricity and another me ... and now I have all this on top ... could someone help me?" 

The responses from the MOMally community were overwhelming.  Everyone wants to help.  She will use this money to pay her rent and to buy food.  Thank you in advance for your generosity.
