This year, we need your help raising funds for the Oncology Ward at New Cross Children’s Hospital, where many children spend long periods receiving specialist treatment.

Children on the ward often spend long days and nights away from home, school, and familiar routines. Their families face emotional strain, long waiting hours, and the ongoing pressures of caring for a child with a serious health condition. How would it feel to be eight-years-old and unsure if Santa could find you in a hospital ward?

We want these children and their families to feel supported, uplifted, and surrounded by kindness from their wider community.

The funds you raise will be used to provide practical, meaningful, and impactful support, including:

Christmas gifts from baby rattles and children colouring books to foos-ball tables and lego for teenagers

Equipment to improve hospital waiting spaces, such as games consoles and books to help children waiting for treatment sessions

Comfort items and wellbeing packs for the children’s families and the staff at New Cross Children’s Hospital working tirelessly at this time of year.
