Associação NINDJON

A associação NINDJON, (é possivel mudar), com sede em BUBAQUE nas ilhas Bijagós é composta por 70 jovens voluntarios que se dedicam a limpesa das praias de algumas ilhas que compoem o arquipelago, 88 no total, sendo 20 habitadas, a associação oficialmente criada, não tem qualquer tipo de apoio e necessita de instrumentos para realizar o seu trabalho;

Uma moto triciclo, Big-Bags, Pás, Ancinhos, Vasoras, Batas, luvas e maquinas de reciclagen de plastico.

Em parceria com a organização civil Bijagós-expeditions pretende melhorar e optimizar a sua força de trabalho voluntario estendendo ao maior numero de ilhas possivel.

O Lixo que invade as Nossas Ilhas não é por nós produzido, vem atraves das correntes atlanticas em enormes quantidades e pela geografia do arquipelago aqui se deposita, prejudicando gravemente as aves migratorias, a desova das tartarugas, e está a matar lentamente os mangais simbolo da vida, os nossos lençois friaticos estão carregados de microplastico assim como o sal que estraimos do mar.

The NINDJON association, based in BUBAQUE on the Bijagós islands, is made up of 70 young volunteers who dedicate themselves to cleaning the beaches of some islands that make up the archipelago, 88 in total, 20 of which are inhabited, the officially created association does not have any type of support and needs instruments to carry out their work;

A tricycle motorbike, Big-Bags, Shovels, Rakes, Brooms, Gowns, gloves and plastic recycling machines.

In partnership with the civil organization Bijagós-expeditions, it aims to improve and optimize its volunteer workforce by extending it to as many islands as possible.

The garbage that invades our islands is not produced by us, it comes through the Atlantic currents in enormous quantities and due to the geography of the archipelago it is deposited here, seriously harming migratory birds, the nesting of turtles, and is slowly killing the mangroves, a symbol of life, our cold sheets are loaded with microplastics, just like the salt we extract from the sea.
