Assistance to single mom with baby in ICU

Hello,

I met a sweet mom and daughters in the ICU. She has her 11-month-old baby girl in the ICU, the baby was born with severe brain deformities and is having some complications. The baby is going home on hospice. She also has her adorable 5-year-old daughter with her in the ICU.

The mom has very little to no support from family and friends. She lost her home and her job because she has been caring for her baby and in the hospital for over a month.

Social services are working to connect her with housing support with no success.

She has an associates degree and is a medical assistant. She is fully capable of providing for herself but needs some help getting back on her feet.
