Our Organization
Sunrise Adult Day Health Care is an organization that provides health, therapeutic and social services for the frail elderly and people with physical and/or cognitive impairments. We are licensed by CA Department of Public Health and certified by CA Department of Aging . The services we provide for our community members include: medical review, nursing essentials, physical/occupational/speech therapies, nutritional services, personal care, social activities, meals, and transportation. Issue & Our Initiative
Due to the Governor's "Stay-At-Home" directive resulting from the COVID-19 outbreak, we are no longer able to provide the above mentioned services effective March 19. However, we are staying loyal to our commitment of providing assistance to the most vulnerable members of our communities - our elderly and people with disabilities. The help is needed like never before. Our team will be putting together essential items (food and personal care) to be delivered to around 150 families from our own database. We are working closely with other organizations which provide services to elderly and people with disabilities in order to expand the reach and assist as many families as possible.
Our Ask
We have a strong conviction that if we combine our resources together, we will be able to put up a stronger fight and get through this together. We understand that these are tough times for everyone and it is harder to help when we all need help, however, a small contribution from you can make a significant impact for others.
Conclusion
I will be personally spearheading the initiative and providing updates on a regular basis. We greatly appreciate all the help!
