Thank you in advance for reading our story. My husband is retired and a disabled veteran. He's worked hard his whole life. Our move to Florida & subsequent issues with making our remote land livable has taken a toll on his health. I'll skip the long story involving permits, impact fees, changing zoning laws, etc. Between my husband's health issues, dealing with no ac in this hot & humid environment & not having a house on the land we have to move now. We are on a fixed income. I'm my husband's caretaker & need to be here for him. We have 3 rescue dogs. We found a fairly reasonable house in town for sale. Our needs include a survey, inspection, title fees, transfer taxes, credit report fee, moving our belongings, etc. The list is extensive. A boost of monies would help us to be living safely & not just surviving each day. We look forward to the days when we can be of service to others again & pay it forward. As of June 1st, Sunday Don was in a freak accident. He's in the ICU now. Hopefully we can move to the house I posted about earlier. More than ever we need a safe environment so he can recover from his injuries.
