At the beginning of the month, my wife and her family lost their father, Sophal Saing. After this unfortunate event, they were faced with another big hurdle - finding out that their mother has dementia. Since we live in North Carolina and they are based in Washington state, it’s been incredibly difficult getting her into an assisted living facility from such a long distance.

She is currently being looked after by her sister- but with a recent cancer diagnosis, it is no longer feasible for her to care for her 24/7. We are asking for any assistance you may be able to contribute in an effort to secure her into an assisted living facility until her insurance kicks in to help pay for her care.
