Assistance for the Gooding Family

Hello, my name is Marsha Cowan and I am a friend of the Gooding Family. I have known Mary Gooding for over 5 years and I wanted to help her family as they navigate through a time of crisis.

On January 21st 2023, Mary Gooding's husband George Franklyn (Frankie) Gooding, a hardworking and dedicated family man, lost his life in a senseless act of violence. On that day a wife lost a husband, and four sons lost their dad.

Frankie had gone back to his birthplace in St. Vincent to work on a family business that was his dream. Frankie's goal was to better provide financial independence and growth for his family. But sadly his life was taken and he did not return to his wife of 22 years and their 4 boys.

Frankie loved his family; his children and wife loved him in return. To Frankie his family was his world and he was their world. His boys saw him as a loving dad and role model. Now the Gooding family has been emotionally shattered; they are left to pick up and put the pieces of their lives back together…but it will never be the same. They will move on with a void…an important missing piece to their family unit.

Ever since I have known Mary she has been instrumental in the lives of many and has touched lives in positive ways through her kindness, loyalty, dedication and love.

Mary has tirelessly spent her life building her family, and educating nurses and physicians. She has dedicated herself to saving lives, comforting and supporting families and loved ones in the hospital setting. She has been inspirational and supportive to many people.

It has absolutely devastated her that she was unable to save the life of the man whom she loved, created memories with and built a family. She has been devastated since learning of her husband's death and viewing the footage of his life being taken.

I am asking if you could please find it in your hearts to contribute anything you can to help cover the cost that the family has incurred to bring Frankie back to his final resting place in South Florida. Contributions will also help Mary and the boys financially, as Mary is now the sole provider for their family.

Frankie and Mary’s two oldest sons are in college, while their two youngest boys are still at home in school.

There is never that one thing that can be said or done to alleviate the hurt that one experiences with the loss of a loved one but I am hoping that through your kind acts of giving the Gooding family will have less of a financial burden as they cope with their loss.
