Help Tara Bring Her Mother Home & Start Over After Losing Their Family House

My name is Tara Brown, and I am going through the most painful and overwhelming time of my life. I lost my mother, Dorothy Bybel, in May, and ever since then, everything has become a struggle — emotionally and financially. I am now facing foreclosure on the home I grew up in, while still trying to bring my mother home from the funeral home.

⚘ My Mother Is Still at M.A. Connell Funeral Home

My mother’s funeral and cremation were handled by M.A. Connell Funeral Home, and the total cost was $3,000. I have paid $1,500, but I still owe the remaining $1,500 — and until that balance is paid, I cannot pick up her ashes.

It breaks my heart knowing that my mother is still at the funeral home simply because I cannot afford the rest of the payment. I want to bring her home, honor her, and finally give her the peace she deserves.

Losing My Childhood Home at the Same Time

At the same time, I am losing the home I grew up in. The house is going into foreclosure, and even if it sells, I will not receive a single dollar. There is no equity left, and I will walk away with nothing — not even enough to move.

This house holds a lifetime of memories with my mother. Letting it go has been devastating, but I have run out of options.
