In May, my son, Semir, 32, passed suddenly. Our grief is overwhelming. He is the father of two young children, 9 and 5 years old. My hope for them is to grow and know that they will be taken care of by their family. I want them to know they will be loved, and will have a bright and happy childhood and future. I want to help Semir's young widow care for their basic needs, for the first time on her own. Their monthly rent is approximately $1,300, plus groceries, utilities, and the clothing and school needs for the the kids. They now face unexpected expenses in coming months. There is red tape to go through to file for any Social Security benefits they may receive, and that could take months. This fund would serve as a cushion to get them started in their life without their daddy.
