We never know when we'll be taken away from our family. I truly hope that when I'm gone that I've prepared as much as possible. No one wants to be a burden. My uncle died suddenly and unexpectedly on Sunday. He was a good man that worked hard his whole life. He worked hard until his body no longer could. He lived simple and never asked for much. The last ten years he lived with my Nana and tended to her every need. Those of you that know her understand that this is no easy task. His three boys, my cousins who are like brothers to me are now left to figure out how to arrange and pay for funeral expenses. Unfortunately he didn't have insurance. My cousins have young children and I know they are in no position to take this on alone. I understand this is horrible timing with both our horrible economy and the Christmas season upon us. But in my life I have seen the power of the smallest gesture and how every little bit can help. A skipped coffee run for you would make a world of difference to these boys.
Thank You With Much Love
