My name is Mamie. On Thursday, August 7, my children and I lost my husband and their father, Luki Costa. Luki was a big part of our community in Washington among Congolese and Angolan people. He was a hard worker who did everything he could to provide for his family and to make sure his kids had everything he could give them. He was a dedicated husband to me. He was a very kind person and one of the things he did for our community was cut men's hair not only as a way to make a living but as a way to bring community together.

He was the sole provider of our household having worked at the airport full time. At this time, my family and I are asking for any financial support you can offer so that we may not only pay for funeral costs but also costs including rent, bills, food, etc.
