Assist Lana's Path to Recovery

So we all know that Lana was in a cooking accident on 9/4 and gave herself 2nd and 3rd degree burns on her dominant hand. Because of this, Jess has been out on medical leave without pay from her job at the VA. Being that now Lana's surgery is complete and she begins physical and occupational therapy tomorrow, we are estimating that Jess won't be able to return to work for about 3-6 weeks. She will be home assisting Lana with everything she needs during the day (including taking care of the wound from the graft where the skin came from) and taking care of Mandy so I can return to work. She will also be making sure she makes all the therapy appointments. Naturally, leave without pay leaves us in the lurch with paying the bills for the month as she is the breadwinner around here. Any help we could get for these would be extremely helpful. Thank you.

UPDATE: It appears Jess will be on FMLA leave without pay for at least the next 2-3 months as Lana will need daily wound care and physical and occupational therapy multiple times a week. Based on her rate of healing will determine how soon Jess can return to work and the doctors are anticipating December.
