Assist Katianna with Greg's Final Journey

Hello, my name is Katianna Hall, but I go by Kati for short. Most people know me as a hardworking, dedicated, and caring person. I am a single mother who takes care of her disabled mom, I have a 6-year-old daughter, and I am currently working 2 full-time jobs (7 days a week). I am embarrassed and sad to have to come and ask for help in this time of need. My brother Greg was in a tragic car accident on May 8, 2025. Telfair County police chased Greg at night on a swivel road that has no street lights and is foggy at night. The police were trying to attempt a pit maneuver when Greg lost control of the car, thinking the road was straight, but there was a turn coming up. The police stopped due to knowing the road was a swivel road, but of course, Greg didn’t know and went 77 feet into the woods. The car landed nose up with a tree coming through the car, and Greg took all of the trauma to his face. It took 2 1/2 hours for the Air Vac to airlift Greg due to him coding on the scene. I received the phone call at 11:30 pm after getting off work from my second job. Greg was always a caring, funny, and smart young man. He is the only sibling I was raised with and have known all my life. As of now, Greg is in Savannah Memorial Hospital in Savannah, GA, and fighting for his life. Due to the accident, Greg has severe brain damage on the right and left sides of his brain. He’s broken every bone in his face, causing him to be scheduled for full facial reconstruction surgery. While waiting for the time to come for his surgery, Greg had a major stroke on the left and right sides of his brain, a staph infection in his lungs, blood clots in his legs, and now pneumonia. Greg was placed on the ventilator when he arrived at the hospital from the scene. On May 28, 2025, Greg’s oxygen levels dropped all the way, and now he is 100% dependent on the ventilator. Now the time has come where we have to make the decision to take Greg off of the ventilator because he is no longer making any changes. Due to Greg not having any life insurance, it comes back to me to have to pay for everything myself. As embarrassing as it is to have to ask for help when I’m normally the one to give and help, I am begging for any help I can get to pay the expenses of planning his homegoing service and the fees of traveling 4 hours every week from Atlanta to Savannah to be with Greg until God calls him home after taking him off of the ventilator. I thank each and every one for the prayers and help that is given. Thank you all❤️
