Assist Karen Powers' Family During Hospice Care

Dear friends and family members,

We are reaching out on behalf of our beloved Aunt Karen Powers, the cherished wife of our Uncle Tom Oliva. Karen was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. Though she experienced a period of remission, she has faced numerous recurrences over the past decade, which have exhausted our uncle's finances as he dedicated himself to her care. Recently, Karen's cancer has aggressively returned, affecting her brain and nervous system, and she is now in hospice care.

Karen is well-known in our community for her tireless efforts to save wildlife, particularly cats. Both she and Uncle Tom have always been there for us in our times of need. Now, they need our help. Tom's financial resources have been depleted, and the burden of care is overwhelming. We are seeking support to help cover their daily expenses, medical costs for her beloved animals to ensure they find loving homes, and the inevitable high costs associated with Karen's final days.
