Hi, I'm Edwina. After 23 years in Port Hadlock, I’m facing a **$200 rent increase starting in January** that I can't afford with my current disability income. Without additional support, I risk losing my home.

I’m seeking help to cover this increase until I either qualify for Section 8 housing or find affordable land to move my mobile home. Any contribution would go directly toward keeping me in my home.

Gentrification is forcing me out of my mobile home park of 23 years. Washington's lack of rent protection laws has led to skyrocketing land rents:

- Current rent: $590 (already unaffordable on disability income)

- January increase: $790

With no affordable apartments or mobile home parks in the area, I'm exploring alternative options. Decades of $200 monthly land rent increased rapidly after the land sale. Now, I face an impossible situation. Your contribution, no matter how small, brings hope.
