Grandma Leila Funeral Fund

I'm sad to announce the strongest woman I know has lost this fight and has passed away. We are grateful that Grandma is now at peace, no longer suffering, and is now reunited with her daughter.

Thank you to everyone who supported my grandmother's GoFundMe, as well as anyone who provided physical donations, including clothes, pajamas, a walker, and Depends etc. All the items will be returned or donated to people who could use them.

Unfortunately, she did not have life insurance. All monetary donations will go toward her funeral, as we are still raising funds to cover the cost.

Please continue to keep our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

This past Wednesday morning my grandmother's home caught fire while she was home.

Fortunately, firefighters were able to get her out. She did suffer from burns throughout her body, as well as smoke inhalation and some lacerations. She was put into a medically induced coma, intubated, and on a ventilator for several days.

I'm grateful to say she is now awake and off the vent! If you ever met my grandmother, you know she is a fighter. She is now on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, my childhood home and all of her belongings were destroyed in the fire. She needs a place to live, clothes, shoes, etc.
