Hey everyone,

I want to take a moment to introduce you to someone truly special—Diana. Pictured here with me, Diana is one of the kindest, most selfless, and upbeat individuals I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Diana has been cleaning my Airbnbs, along with many others in our community, for the past few years. I met her at a time when she was looking for a fresh start and wanted to work for herself. Cleaning Airbnbs became the perfect fit for her. If you're an Airbnb host or someone who uses a house cleaner regularly, you know how rare and wonderful it is to find someone exceptional. For me, Diana has been that person, and I can’t express enough how much I appreciate her and the hard work she does—not just for me, but for so many others.

Today, I’m reaching out to share Diana’s story because she and her family are facing an incredibly difficult time. Diana has been the sole caretaker for her elderly mother, her sister, and her sister’s son. She has always shouldered these responsibilities with grace and unwavering dedication, relying on her income to support her loved ones.

Diana’s sister has struggled with addiction and has been in and out of prison for much of her life, leaving Diana to step up and raise her nephew as though he were her own. She ensured he had the love, stability, and care he needed. Tragically, very recently and suddenly, Diana’s nephew passed away. The entire family is devastated by this unimaginable loss.

As the family’s cornerstone, Diana is now facing the added burden of covering the costs for a proper burial, funeral, and celebration of life for her nephew. Despite her grief, she has been consumed with trying to come up with the necessary funds, leaving her little time to mourn, rest, or even process the loss.
