Hello All, My name is Charlotte. I am a very proud mother of 5 beautiful children as well as a preschool teacher in the area of Katy, Texas. In November of 2024 I underwent heart surgery, a triple bypass, after having suffered complete cardiac arrest in March of 2023. I was resuscitated three times, once by EMS on scene at the school where I work and then twice in the hospital. I was blessed to have survived. However, due to the toll that this took on my heart, I had a massive heart attack which lead to the major surgery I went through last month. All of these events have left me unable to work and support my family. As the sole provider in my household, this has left me in a very difficult position, one in which I never thought that I would find myself, yet here I stand in desperate need of help. My children and I have lost our home and have been staying in extended stay hotels while I'm trying to get us into another apartment. Unfortunately, the required deposit is more than I am able to put together on my own and I am praying for a miracle and am hopeful that this GoFundMe will be the blessing that we need in order to start over and live the life that God has provided me once again. The selflessness of strangers saved my life in the form of the heroes who started my heart back up again every time it stopped and I will never be able to express the gratitude I feel for them every single day. I am leaning on that same selflessness once more as I ask you for your help here today. I can never pay it back, but once I am well and able, I promise to pay it forward every chance I get.
