My name is Charlotte. I am a very proud mother of 5 beautiful children as well as a preschool teacher in the area of Katy, Texas. In November of 2024 I underwent heart surgery, a triple bypass, after having suffered complete cardiac arrest in March of 2023. I was resuscitated three times, once by EMS on scene at the school where I work and then twice in the hospital. I was blessed to have survived. However, due to the toll that this took on my heart, I had a massive heart attack which lead to the major surgery I went through last month. All of these events have left me unable to work and support my family. As the sole provider in my household, this has left me in a very difficult position, one in which I never thought that I would find myself, yet here I stand in desperate need of help. My children and I have lost our home and have been staying in extended stay hotels while I'm trying to get us into another apartment. Unfortunately, the required deposit is more than I am able to put together on my own and I am praying for a miracle and am hopeful that this GoFundMe will be the blessing that we need in order to start over and live the life that God has provided me once again. The selflessness of strangers saved my life in the form of the heroes who started my heart back up again every time it stopped and I will never be able to express the gratitude I feel for them every single day. I am leaning on that same selflessness once more as I ask you for your help here today. I can never pay it back, but once I am well and able, I promise to pay it forward every chance I get. Assist Charlotte's Healing Process

Please support the family of  <span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">Paramedic Thompson as the family grieves the tragic and unexpected loss of her sister who died suddenly six days after giving birth, leaving behind a newborn and a young baby. Funds raised will help with the purchase of food, clothing, diapers and any further needs of the babies as Paramedic Thompson and her family will be taking on their care. FBCEMS Peer Support Team and FBCEMS Paramedics and local fire departments will also be collecting gift cards to help support our sister and her family. </span>

Emergency Funds for family of Paramedic Thompson

Please help a local hero and his family who are in need of rescuing themselves. Fate Breedlove has been an Emergency Medical Technician and a Volunteer Firefighter for over a decade in East Bernard and the surrounding community. Fate has served with East Bernard Emergency Medical Services, East Bernard Volunteer Fire Department and Oak Bend Hospital. He is currently recovering from COVID-19, bilateral pneumonia, multiple rib fractures and pulmonary embolisms, all of which have left him unable to work for at least the next few months. During a time of global crisis Fate selflessly served his neighbors and our community to help others when they needed him most. He has done this many times before and now it is our community's turn to return the favor and help Fate and his family get through this trying time while Fate recovers enough to return to duty on the front lines, which is where he wants to be. <br /><br />No one ever wants to ask for help. First responders are the helpers in times of need. It is especially difficult for us to reach out for the help we so often offer to others. We will continue to do all that we can to help our brother Fate and his family. We are hopeful and praying that the community reaches back to assist someone who has helped countless others on what many times has been the worst day of their lives. <br /><br />Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Help local first responder affected by COVID-19

We were planning to wear our uniforms for the funeral services, as is tradition, so we took our uniforms to the dry cleaners. We returned home an hour later to find 6 inches of water throughout our entire home. The main waterline to the house burst under our kitchen sink. <br /><br />We were under the impression that our renters policy would cover things like food and living expenses in the event that something like this should happen, but we were either misinformed or we misunderstood. What we had was contents coverage and it was bare bones at best, with a high deductible. We would never have kept a policy with such limited coverage, given that we both held an insurance license for many years. We know the value of it. It was a huge oversight and a very costly mistake. <br /><br />Our landlord immediately filed a claim and sought compensation for our living expenses under his homeowner's policy, knowing we were going to be displaced for a long while. He was only able to recover $35 dollars a day, which on our end, only applies to our rent and it will be prorated at the end of the month for the remainder of October's rent, for which we have already paid half and any left over amount will apply to November's rent, which will increase as our lease will renew next month. <br /><br />As of right now, we are staying in the house with ripped out drywall, concrete floors, and only two beds for furniture, as everything else is crammed into the garage while we await demolition and repairs to begin. I have no means to store or prepare food, let alone wash dishes. All of our dishes and cookware is currently stored in the garage and our kitchen has no water or electricity at this time. <br /><br />We are now two weeks into this mess and there is no end in sight. We have been given a hopeful guesstimate of two to three more weeks before everything is done. <br /><br />Because of this we have been financially devastated. Our families have supported us and helped us as much as they can. Our friends have been there for us and we received help very quickly from a charity that supports paramedics from my agency, in times of crisis. I thought it was enough. I could never have imagined how devastating this was going to be. I would never have imagined that we would end up needing ten times more than what was already given to us. <br /><br />We have drained our savings account, our emergency funds and our regular bank account, including credit cards. Both my husband and myself have had to take time off of work to rip out carpet, move furniture and empty out the house we have lived in for a decade. We've been blessed with helping hands along the way but unfortunately we have run out of resources. <br /><br />In total, not including our regular monthly expenses, this incident has cost us $3,796. This includes one more week of the projected costs of food and additional childcare. We know there will be one more week beyond that, and possibly anywhere from one to three more weeks beyond that. The most we will recover from insurance is $500 dollars prorated to our rent, at some point in November. <br /><br />My husband and I both work full time, as well as part time, to pay our bills and take care of our family. We have never taken a dime we did not earn in the 16 years we have been a family. We never thought we would be in this position. We're embarrassed to ask for any help. But we have to put pride aside and do what we have to do for our children. We are dangerously close to being put into a position that we would not be able to recover from. We are already in the position of being completely out of money and resources. For that reason, I am humbly asking for help. <br /><br />Thank you for any help, prayers or just plain good thoughts you could send our way. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Kaiser family needs help

Samuel Bryan is a fire fighter at Rosenberg Fire Department in Houston, TX. He was recently in a severe car accident and is currently fighting for his life.<br /><br />As Samuel’s classmates from Floresville High School’s Class of 2012, of Floresville, TX, we have organized this campaign to support Samuel and the Bryan family during his recovery.
