Assist Brianna and Kids After Car Was Stolen

My name is Brianna and I'm a disabled single mom of two kids who both are impaired with special medical needs living in Knapp, WI. On March 28, 2025 I took my 4 year old daughter Azlynn to the Maplewood Mall in Minnesota as she really wanted to go to a zoo to see animals, and Sustainable Safari was a new exotic animal exhibit there. We walked out of the mall around 4pm to head back home to Wisconsin but I couldn't find my car in the parking lot. I thought maybe we went out a different door than we went in or maybe we walked down the wrong row until we walked the mall parking lot and still couldn't find my car. I was trying not to panic and went back into the mall to regather my thoughts as I figured there was some explanation or maybe I overlooked my car somehow so we searched it again while I was pushing my key fob alarm to locate it and still didn't find it. Panic set in and I called the cops to see if they could locate it or check the cameras as I felt like I was losing my mind. An officer took my info and keys and checked the parking lot and surrounding area and couldn't locate it either. By this time I realized that someone somehow had taken my car which I made sure was locked. Being in a different state over an hour away from home with no car seat, and only my wallet on me and the mall closing in less than 2 hours and getting dark out in an area that is dangerous at night especially for a single mom and young daughter was horrifying. Trying to find someone to come pick us up over an hour away in another state was almost impossible as I don't have anyone to help in those situations. My daughter was born 3 weeks early with a knot in her umbilical cord and conductive hearing loss in both ears and has had 2 surgeries and needs another one asap that I haven't been able to set up without transportation. She also has extreme separation anxiety diagnosed at 4 months old. She sees a child behavioral therapist as well as child psychologist as she has suffered physical, emotional, sexual, and neglectful abuse by her stepmom and stepmoms son since age 2. I have a restraining order against her father for domestic violence and sexual assault and got out of that relationship when she was 9 months old during the covid pandemic which was literally the most brutal time to escape as the world was literally locked down to a stay at home order. My son Jaidyn is 15 and was born with a rare genetic defect and has an extra x chromosome. It's called klinefelter's syndrome and causes severe horomone imbalances and requires him to receive testosterone injections for the rest of his life. This disorder also caused many developmental delays as well as extreme learning deficiencies. He was also diagnosed with autism, sensory processing disorder and oppositional defiant disorder which resulted in extreme behavioral issues, speech and language delays, and physical delays. He's been in many programs and therapies and has multiple appointments daily, weekly, as well as specialists, programs, county workers and services, appointments in Woodbury, MN and Rochester, MN which are over and hour or 2 hour drive one way and increase in frequency the older he gets. I was told I couldn't have kids at the age of 19 due to endometriosis. I had kidney failure at 21 and was in stage 2 liver failure after my daughter was born. I was deemed permanently disabled at the age of 24 for many mental health diagnoses and since then have acquired many physical health issues that require a lot of medical appointments. The amount of appointments and medical care my kids and I require is extremely detrimental to survive. My only income is SSI benefits to support myself and kids. I don't receive any rental assistance or child support. My kids are miracles as I was told I'd never have one let alone two. This last year has been the most brutal of my life. Due to an extremely low income, I've had to live in a storage unit until I found a place because I don't have an income sufficient enough to show I make 3x any rent amount because of rental price increases. My vehicle was taken and I can't afford any down payment or even a monthly car payment as I'm not able to fully cover basic essential living needs along with rent and utilities. Not having a vehicle for the last 4 months has caused extreme delays in needed appointments and medications and has had life threatening consequences for me and detrimental consequences for my kids. Days that I've gone without eating because I had no way to get groceries and the kids needed to eat more than me. So I'm asking for beyond a miracle. I've escaped a domestic violence relationship just to get knocked down and struggle to stay alive and meet basic needs and watch my kids suffer as well and my car was the one thing we needed the most. It was mine and the only thing I had that no one could take from me and then someone did. The amount of appointments and the amount of miles and time driving requires me to have an extremely dependable vehicle with lower miles so I don't have to worry about a major vehicle purchase for 3 to 5 years. So I'm graciously asking for help so I can buy a dependable long lasting vehicle that is completely paid off so my kids and I can continue to get all the medical or essential care we need to live or function normally.

Thank you for taking time to read our story. Time is extremely valuable as it can be gone just like that, and you chose to read this story with yours. We feel extremely blessed just for that.
