Help my family to evacuate from Gaza

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for assistance. After 200 days of genocide in Gaza, my family has gone through unimaginable suffering. On the third day of the war, my sister and her son were injured and trapped under the rubble by Israeli warplanes. They bombed my neighbor’s house, leaving behind three martyrs, one of whom was a child, and causing many injuries. When the IDF invaded northern Gaza, my family evacuated to Khan Yunis in the south, hoping to find a safe place. They lived in a crowded camp, falling ill every week. There seemed to be no solution, just a sense of hopelessness and waiting to return home. But even that camp was no longer safe after the IDF attacked Khan Yunis. So, they evacuated once again, this time to Rafah. Now, with the IDF planning to attack Rafah, there is nowhere left to flee. I lost my beloved brother, Mahmoud, on December 13, 2023. Our house was partially bombed, and our neighborhood was destroyed. It was incredibly challenging to navigate everything during such a tough time and ask for help to evacuate my family, who are currently residing in Gaza. The situation there has become increasingly dire.

As you may be aware, Gaza has been facing a prolonged humanitarian crisis marked by conflict, economic instability, and limited access to essential resources. With limited access to necessities, families are struggling to ensure their well-being. The constant threat of violence and deteriorating living conditions make it imperative for us to seek safety. Their primary concern is the safety and future of their children, who deserve a life free from the constant fear and insecurity that currently defines their daily existence. As you know, there are now no schools, hospitals, or universities, and even access to water and electricity for homes is scarce."

To facilitate the evacuation of my family to Egypt, I have initiated a fundraising campaign intending to secure the necessary funds for evacuating, money, and a temporary place to stay in Egypt. The funds raised will be used to ensure they will have a safe passage out of Gaza

I have initiated this GoFundMe campaign to raise €120,000. Here's the breakdown of the fund:

* GoFundMe transaction fees, which amount to 2.9% +$0.30 per donation

* €112,500 for permits and crossing fees to Egypt for 29 people, including the 13 children (my nephews and nieces). Each adult will require €5,000, and each child €2,500 to cross the Rafah border from Gaza to Egypt.

* €4000 will be sufficient to cover their basic needs in Egypt.

Your generous contributions will be utilized for the temporary crossing of a border to a safe location. Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact and contribute to evacuating my family in a safe environment. The funds raised will be used transparently and efficiently to ensure that every euro goes towards securing their evacuation. I am their only hope to get out of Gaza. Please help me save my family’s lives.

أنا أحمد الزعيم، فلسطيني من غزة، أدرس حالياً في ألمانيا. أكتب هذا بعد الكثير من التفكير والتردد، ونظرًا للظروف الصعبة التي تواجهها غزة منذ شهر أكتوبر، أتوجه إليكم بقلب مثقل لطلب دعمكم ومساعدتكم لإجلاء عائلتي من غزة إلى مكان آمن. بعد 200 يوم من الحرب والإبادة الجماعية في غزة، عانت عائلتي من معاناة لا يمكن تصورها. وفي اليوم الثالث من الحرب أصيبت أختي وابنها بجروح وعلقا تحت الأنقاض عندما تم قصف منزل جارنا، مما أدى إلى سقوط ثلاثة شهداء والعديد من الإصابات. عندما اجتاح الجيش الإسرائيلي شمال غزة، اضطرت عائلتي للنزوح إلى خان يونس في الجنوب، على أمل العثور على مكان آمن. كانوا يعيشون في مخيم مكتظ ويمرضون أسبوعياً. ويبدو أنه لا يوجد حل، بل مجرد شعور باليأس وانتظار العودة إلى المنزل. ولكن حتى هذا المخيم لم يعد آمنًا بعد أن هاجم الجيش الإسرائيلي خان يونس. لذلك اضطروا للنزوح مرة أخرى إلى رفح. وبما أن الجيش الإسرائيلي يخطط الآن للهجوم على رفح، فلا يوجد مخرج لهم.

لقد فقدت أخي الحبيب محمود في 13 ديسمبر 2023، وتضرر منزلنا بشكل كبير وكما تم تدمير الحي (حي النصر) بحيث أصبح غير قابل للسكن.
