ASPIRE Maui & Hawaii County Wildfires Fundraiser

Hawai`i Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster is an affiliate of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD). National VOAD, an association of organizations that mitigate and alleviate the impact of disasters, provides a forum promoting cooperation, communication, coordination and collaboration; and fosters more effective delivery of services to communities affected by disaster.

ASPIRE will be matching donations up to $500 to Maui and Hawaii County Wildfires through 3pm CST on Friday, September 1. Your donations to Hawaii VOAD help put experienced disaster responders on the ground and help survivors recover. Your donation will allow this organization to:

• Purchase food, water, medicine, and equipment from secure and familiar supply chains.

• Buy materials locally. This can help rebuild the local economy.

• Conserve resources. The cost to ship relief supplies can be expensive.
