Help AMU's Aslam and Rafiq bhais survive

Donation protected
Sabra’s husband, Jamil bhai used to sell chaat; now they are without any income or work. Irfan bhai used to sell cloth pieces near Wahidia hostel; he died at age 28 of cancer and Saima, his wife, tried to keep the small business running. Now with Covid-19 the hostels are closed and she is unable to generate income. She has a small daughter. Jameel bhai used to sell noodles near Bitan bhai’s shop. Now he cannot continue the work and he has no income. Aslam bhai, the tikki walla for whom we first raised money, as you are aware, is without work or income, and so is Rafiq bhai, who used to sell juice. He has no income and has a family of six to feed. Your contributions are helping each one of them. We have so far disbursed $1200. We have $1700 in our account to send in the future. We will send each one of them more money after Bakreid to help them restart their business and/or rethink new business ventures. We are also arranging school fees and educational expenses for their children. Our hope is to get them on their feet and live a life of dignity in the future. Your monetary donations, ideas, and help will take them forward. In a small way, we are embarking on a journey together to reimagine Sir Syed’s dream to work for the betterment of qaum and watan.

This fund will be used for the five struggling vendors and perhaps a few more. Many thanks!!
