It's me - Eric. Not knowing what else I can do to help, I figured I would work to relieve the financial burden that Chad is facing because of some serious health issues that are keeping him from working.

Some details are below but know that this is most likely a life-changing health issue and to be stressed about how to keep up will bills, both medical and other is not helping during the process.

Chad is a great friend who has been through a really tough time for the last 10 months.

Diagnosed with kidney stones he underwent two lithotripsy surgeries to try to remove the stones. Hoping this was the end of it, he returned to work only to find out that this was the beginning of a long and painful journey.

The surgery caused scar tissue to form and his kidney was only performing at about 15 to 20%. In the meantime, he had a few more surgeries to help him through until a permanent plan of action could be decided. During most of this time he was out of work and accruing medical bills and not bringing in a paycheck. Which is very hard on his mental health.

Finally, the doctors came up with a plan to repair the kidney it had a 70% chance to take.

He had the surgery and it was about a two-month recovery period. Then follow-up visits to make sure everything was going all right with the kidney.

He went back to work and everything good, he went for his follow up and they found that the area that they fixed looked good but the scar tissue area was narrowing and they would need to do another procedure to fix a kink as they called It. They set up the appointment he went in they put him under and couldn’t do it because the scar tissue was too thick and narrow.

He has two options leave it as is and it might last a day a year or more, or take the kidney out and have a 2-month recovery and no more kidney.

This would be the ninth or tenth surgery.

And he would have been out of work again making this about a year that he has been out of work give or take a few weeks here or there.

Medical bills and household bills are taking their toll on this poor soul. As if the last ten months of surgeries are not enough having to worry about medical and household bills shouldn’t be a worry, getting better should be his only concern.
