Ashley’s Angel has Arrived
Donation protected
Hello my name is Tracey Kerr, I am the Montgomery FFA Booster Club Secretary two years running. I have three of my own children in the program. I am raising funds to help support Ashley Rain Bennett, her Fiancé Jordan and their sweet new gift Walker. I first met Ashley while she was in her Junior year of high school years back. She is part of our FFA Family. It was evident to me even then that she was a strong young woman. She loved her cattle as if they were her own children. Ashley’s grandparents were at every show with us. We all became close as an FFA Family. Her grandpa Raymond was her biggest supporter and workhorse. You could see the joy in his face watching her show in the ring. During her senior year, her grandfather passed away suddenly and unexpectedly, leaving Ashley to finish her senior year strong with the support of her FFA Family and grandmother Coleen. During her Senior year the sun decided to shine a little on Ashley’s heart. Through friends Jordan and Ashley met and started a wonderful friendship. Ashley would go on to college and decided she had bigger projects that needed her attention. Jordan and Ashley knew they wanted more from each other and from life. They chose to start their own cattle business and show business. They have had success and are living the life of the American Cattleman. In the Spring of this year Jordan and Ashley were engaged. Soon after they learned an Angel would be joining their family. Walker was set to join us in late October. He decided to cause his momma some trouble via preeclampsia and chose to come into the world two months early. Baby Walker was off of his breathing tube within 24 hrs and off of his c-pap 2 days later. He is a fighter just like his momma. Ashley has a long road ahead of her to heal from her high blood pressure and c-Section. Jordan will be the primary care giver for Ashley and Walker. Normally Jordan works 2 full time jobs to support his family along with raising their own Cattle. I would like to provide enough funds to supplement their income short term so he can care for them. This will lessen Ashely’s healing time and help get them all back on their feet faster. Remember what they say, tough times never last but tough people do. Please keep this young little family in your prayers and if you are able, open your hand to give. ❤️
