Hello my name is Megan, I am a 16 year old student at Dunclug college and I am excited to announce that next February me and 13 other students as well as 4 teachers, will have the privilege of travelling to Delhi in India to work alongside a charity called Asha in the Kusumper community. In February this year I applied to be part of the team travelling to India. I as well as 13 other students successfully completed an interview in February and since then our team have been meeting each month to help improve our confidence, team build, practice activities, improve on our communication skills and share ideas to prepare to help the young children and their families in Delhi. In India, We aim to improve the lives of the people in this community through volunteering, sharing ideas as well as fundraising. I have committed to doing the best that I can to make a positive impact on the lives of those in India in every way.
