Raising funds to purchase equipment for Scouts

Hi, My name is Steve. I am the Co-Ordinator of a group seeking to commemorate a tragedy on the Clarence River, Grafton NSW Australia which saw thirteen boys loose their lives.

The commemoration ceremony will take place on 11 December 2023 which is 80 years after the event. I want to, with your help, provide the current Scouts Group of Grafton with much needed equipment. The items they wish to have are an inflatable Rigid Boat, trailer and motor, a canoe trailer and life preservers. Commemorating a disaster such as this will impact on all present, but more so with the survivors (2) and the families who were directly affected by it. I want to be able to provide a major positive action on the day. Provision of these items will be of long term value to the scouts of today and will be of great comfort to the survivors, families and the general public for a great many years to come.
