Arts for Vets is a Grand Forks, North Dakota, a not-for-profit that provides a space and creative outlet for Veterans to explore their creativity and the world of art, creative expression and music. Arts for Vets provides veterans and active duty military members with art supplies, training in various techniques and methods, support and guidance for pursuing careers in the arts and many other resources. We partner with other community organizations to hold public art shows, exhibits and classes, providing Veterans with a space to be seen and creating an atmosphere for the general public to engage with and embrace our veteran and military community.

We need your support to continue to grow and expand our efforts to serve the Veteran community. We operate on monetary donations and donations of supplies, and volunteer time. We use cash donations to purchase art supplies, hire art teachers for classes, and hire veteran musicians and creators to perform at events and happenings at the gallery and other communities in the upper midwest.

We seek community support to upgrade our gallery, support our studio artists, and help purchase supplies for our art, music, kitchen and class offerings.

Since 2015 we have presented over 450 veteran, military and military family members' fine art exhibitions in North Dakota, Minnesota and worldwide via online communities. We recently outgrew our gallery and have expanded our space by another 3000 sq feet, but we need donations to upgrade the gallery and classrooms to make it a warm, inviting and safe space for artists.

A quote from one of our Vietnam veterans in one of our recent shows says it all, " I have been painting for 30 years, and this is the first time I feel seen!" Let's see these amazing creators, support them, and help them shine! Thank you all for your support!
