Many of you will be familiar with Arthur and his dog ratty who he wheels around Rickmansworth in a wheelchair.

My heart literally sank yesterday evening as I walked towards Rickmansworth past Stockers lock and saw his boat underwater.

After talking with other boat owners I discovered that Arthur is recovering in Hospital and his dog is being cared for.

I have set an initial target of £5000 for a lovely gentleman who has lost everything.
