In the pictures I send you today, you can follow a bit what he did with kids, women and men of tulkarmcamp, in Palestine. And all this during the harsh conditions they are going through everyday. Again and again.

I want to reach out to you for a friend of mine whom lives in Tulkarm, Palestine.

Osama has been working for more than 15 years in the field of theater and performing arts, as a trainer and actor. Despite the harsh life caused by the occupation and the difficult living conditions, he has remained dedicated to pursuing his passion for theater. He has held several training workshops in this field, especially those dedicated to children and school students, having participated in artistic and performance shows in Palestine, Italy, and Lebanon. He has also worked as a clown in many children's shows in Palestine.

Hello,

My name is Osama Atwa, and I live in Tulkarem, Palestine. I’m reaching out to raise funds for an ambitious project: establishing a theater in our city, inspired by the Freedom Theater in Jenin. This theater will be a platform for producing and performing works that share the Palestinian story with the world.

This cause is deeply personal to me. As a Palestinian living under occupation, I’ve witnessed the daily struggles and hardships our people endure. Movement between cities is restricted by checkpoints, our schools are often inaccessible due to army raids, and we live in constant fear of gunfire and arrests. Despite these challenges, our love for literature, culture, and art remains strong. Theater, in particular, is a powerful medium for expressing the oppression and pain experienced by our people.

The funds raised will go towards producing our first theatrical performance, which will be the cornerstone of our efforts to establish a permanent theater in Tulkarem. This space will not only serve as a cultural hub for our community but will also enable us to tour globally, sharing Palestine’s story and giving voice to our experiences. Your support will help provide children in Tulkarem with a creative outlet, allowing them to explore their talents and express themselves in ways that are otherwise restricted.

Why Your Support Matters

Establishing a Theater in Tulkarem:

This project will lay the foundation for a theater that brings together amateurs and talented individuals, offering a space for creativity, artistic formation, and cultural development. The theater will also engage children, providing a nurturing environment for them to explore their potential and open new paths for their lives. Tulkarem is full of energetic people and untapped potential, yet it remains marginalized by both official and community entities.

Creating a Theater Play:

Our first production will address critical humanitarian, political, and economic issues, shedding light on the realities of living behind a wall.

Supporting Vulnerable Communities:

Gaza residents forcibly present in the West Bank are unable to work or return to their families due to the occupation and war. These individuals live in extremely difficult psychological, social, and economic conditions.

Funding activities and events that provide children with a nurturing and psychologically supportive environment amid the harsh circumstances they face.

The project budget is divided into two parts:

Budget for activities, events and work with children (total: 40,000 euros), divided as follows:

1. Building rent 6,000 euros.

2. Psychological support workshops through arts: (2*2*4*6*50) = 4,800 euros.

3. Creative arts workshop (Drawing): (2*2*4*6*40) = 3,840 euros.

(At the end of the workshop, we will organize an exhibition of children's drawings in addition to painting murals on the walls of the country)

4. Handicrafts and recycling workshop: (2*2*4*3*50) = 2,400 euros.

5. Photography workshop: (2*2*4*6*40) = 3,840 euros.

6. Candle making workshop: (2*2*4*3*40) = 1,920 euros.

7. Mobile journalism workshop (Alternative Media): (2*2*4*3*40) = 1920 euros.

8. Puppet making and usage workshop: (3*2*4*3*50) = 3600 euros.

9. Drama and theater training for children and producing a show with them: (2*3*4*6*50) = 7200 euros.

10. Logistics (hospitality, transportation, communications, training tools, materials, etc.) = 7000 euros.

Theatrical show production budget (total: 25000 euros), divided as follows:

1. Production: 2000€.

2. Research: 1000€.

3. Scriptwriting: 2000€.

4. Actors (Three actors for two months): 3*1000*2 = 6000€.

5. Music: 1500€.

6. Decoration design: 1000€.

7. Decoration construction: 1000€.

8. Dramaturge: 2000€.

9. Movement design and training: 1500€.

10. Assistant director: 2000€.

11. Costume design and execution: 1000€.

12. Accessories: 500€.

13. Training venues: 1000€.

14. Logistics (communications, transportation, meals, accommodation): 1000€.

15. Lighting and sound: 1000€.

16. Media, graphic design, poster, advertising materials: 500€.

The money will be send directly to Osama who has a team of people that care about culture, art and kids in tulkarem.

ادعم/ ادعمي أسامة عطوة في نقل المسرح إلى طولكرم، فلسطين

أسامة عطوة فنان ومدرب مسرحي متفانٍ منذ عام 2008، حيث عمل بشغف مذّاك وسط الواقع القاسي للاحتلال والظروف المعيشة الصعبة في فلسطين. وعلى الرغم من المصاعب التي واجهته، أجرى أسامة العديد من ورش العمل، استهدفت خصوصاً الأطفال والطلاب، مانحةً إياهم مساحة داعمة للازدهار. وهو لا يزال يحلم بإنتاج أعماله المسرحية الخاصة، ليجول بها أنحاء فلسطين والعالم.

تشمل خبرة أسامة الواسعة المشاركة في عروض فنية في فلسطين وإيطاليا ولبنان. كما أنه أحضر البهجة إلى عدد لا يحصى من الأطفال، في عمله مهرّجاً في العديد من العروض. وبعد الجولة التي أجراها في لبنان، حيث قدم عروضه في المخيمات الفلسطينية هناك، اعتقلته القوات الإسرائيلية. وقد تم توثيق رحلته واعتقاله اللاحق في فيلم "120 كم".

لماذا دعمكَ/ دعمكِ ذات أهمية؟

إنشاء مسرح في طولكرم: هذا المشروع سيؤسس لإنشاء مسرح في طولكرم، يجمع بين الأفراد الهواة والموهوبين، ليوفر مساحة للإبداع والتكوين الفني والتنمية الثقافية لهؤلاء. كما سيعمل على إشراك الأطفال، بما يتضمّن خلق بيئة داعمة لهم من شأنها استكشاف طاقاتهم الكامنة وفتح مسارات جديدة لحياتهم، علماً أن طولكرم تمتلئ بالأشخاص المفعمين بالحيوية وذوي القدرات، لكنها مهمشة إلى حد كبير من قِبل الجهات الرسمية وغير الرسمية.

دعم المجتمعات الهشّة: سيذهب جزء من عائدات عروض العرض والجولات التي ستقام في فلسطين وحول العالم إلى:

مساعدة سكان قطاع غزة في الضفة الغربية: تقديم الدعم لسكان غزة الموجودين قسراً في الضفة الغربية والذين منعهم الاحتلال والحرب من العمل أو العودة إلى عائلاتهم، بينما يعيشون في ظلّ ظروف نفسية واجتماعية واقتصادية سيئة لأقصى الحدود.

أنشطة وفعاليات مخصصة للأطفال: تمويل أنشطة وفعاليات مخصصة للأطفال، لتوفير بيئة داعمة ومغذية نفسياً لهم في ظل الظروف الصعبة التي يواجهونها.

مفهوم مسرحية أسامة يعالج قضايا إنسانية وسياسية واقتصادية حرجة، مسلّطاً الضوء على حقائق العيش "خلف الحائط". وسيركز العرض على الآتي:

الاستغلال والسيطرة المجتمعية: نقد لكيفية استغلال صناعات وممارسات معيّنة للناس بهدف تحقيق الربح والسيطرة.

دور الوهم في الحياة البشرية: استكشاف كيفية استخدام الأوهام للتلاعب بالأفراد والسيطرة عليهم، والذي يصبّ غالباً في صالح الطبقات المستغِلّة.

الملخّص: في مختبر يبدو فوضوياً، يكتشف شخصان مخطّطاً للسيطرة عليهما من خلال الوهم. تنتج صحوتهما تلك تبعات غير متوقعة، مما يثير لديهما التساؤل حول ثمن وعيهما الجديد.

وعندما يستيقظان على حالتهما هذه، يتوجّب عليهما اتخاذ قرار حول كيفية التصرف ضد القوى المسيطِرة. فتشعل صحوتهما طريق البحث عن الحرية والحقيقة، فيما تنطوي رحلتهما التنويرية على مخاطر وتضحيات كبيرة، لتختبر عزمهما وقدرتهما على الصمود.

الجدول الزمني للإنتاج

ميزانية المشروع مقسمة إلى قسمين:

ميزانية أنشطة وفعاليات وعمل مع الأطفال (المجموع: 40000 يورو)، مقسمة على النحو الآتي:

(في ختامها معرض لرسومات الأطفال بالإضافة إلى رسم جداريات على جدران البلد).

4. ورشة أعمال يدوية وإعادة تدوير: (2*2*4*3*50)= 2400 يورو.

5. ورشة تصوير فوتوغرافي: (2*2*4*6*40)= 3840 يورو.

6. ورشة صناعة شموع: (2*2*4*3*40)= 1920 يورو.

7. ورشة صحافة موبايل ( إعلام بديل): (2*2*4*3*40)= 1920 يورو.

8. ورشة إعداد واستخدام دمى: (3*2*4*3*50)= 3600 يورو.

9. تدريب دراما ومسرح للأطفال وإنتاج عرض معهم: (2*3*4*6*50)= 7200 يورو.

10. لوجستيات (ضيافة، مواصلات، اتصالات، ادوات تدريب، مواد،... إلخ)= 7000 يورو.
