Arson attack on local cafe

We’re running a fund me page for the new local cafe/shop that’s recently set up in Bynea. Unfortunately, over the past few weeks the shop has came under attack like many other businesses in Llanelli, it started with smashed windows and has now been a victim to an arson attack leaving the building saturated in thick black smoke and damaged completely throughout. Not only has this affected their business but also other units around, the business posted this on their social media
- ’"We're deeply saddened to share that the Loaded Lounge at the Hideaway is temporarily closed due to a recent incident. Unfortunately, our establishment was targeted, causing damage beyond repair. We're disheartened by this, especially as a new business in Bynea. We're working closely with authorities to address this matter.
Our sympathies and support go out to the other burger van in Carmarthen and the Strady Arms, both affected by similar incidents last night. These actions impact not only us but our entire community. We appreciate the support received during this challenging time.
While we focus on recovery, we urge anyone with factual information about the incident to come forward. Speculation only adds to the distress. Thank you for your understanding and support."
Speaking with the owners, their biggest guilt lies with them taking on staff which are now unfortunately jobless leading up to Christmas. The majority of staff had left their previous job to go work in the cafe/shop & now unfortunately have 0 income over this period, with families to support themselves.
The owners will not be taking any potential donations for themselves, they will be using the money to support the staff they promised work for over the Christmas period & if any leftovers will go towards any expensive building costs unfortunately they may have to occur.
- Even though the business is new, they’ve made plenty of donations to local clubs, schools and sponsored teams/individuals. It would be nice if they had a little support returned to help them get through this and bounce back.
