Poems for a World on Pause Volunteer Poet Corps

30+ volunteer poets around the world are offering their art free of charge to help provide compassion and respite from the anxiety of COVID-19. The project is called Poems for a World on Pause. Custom poems are digitally delivered to each recipient, focusing on the things that are most important to them, in the format that they choose.
We will continue to provide this service until the pandemic calms and the world begins to recover, and will never ask recipients to pay for their poems.
However, as we are all performers and have no income streams while in quarantine, and as so many generous people have asked us how they can support the project, we set up this fund to be able to get some emergency funding to those of us in the most precarious situations.
If you are one of those generous people, we thank you, truly. And we hope that we will be emerging into a more peaceful, just, and empathetic world on the other side.
