Save the Steveston Veterans Unit!

Members of ANAF Unit 284 Steveston need to raise $46,500 by August 2025 in order to save our beloved club.

ANAF Unit 284 Steveston has been a fixture in Steveston since 1946. The Unit is a place for members to come together, share stories, socialize, participate in meat draws, or even just have a drink in the Veteran’s Lounge in quiet reflection.

Unfortunately, like a lot of businesses, the pandemic hit Unit 284 hard, and it has been struggling ever since, all the while trying to keep up its philanthropic work for local charities, sports groups and the community. This was clearly not sustainable, and the Unit now finds itself behind in property taxes owed to the City of Richmond. All proceeds from this GoFundMe will go directly to the City of Richmond to pay the back taxes owed.

Army Navy & Air Force Veterans Units across Canada are not-for-profit organizations that give back to their communities, while also providing a space for members to come together; ANAF Units are now open to the public, not exclusively veterans, all are welcome to become members.

ANAF Unit 284 Steveston greatly appreciates any donation you can provide to help keep the Unit open and moving forward so that it can continue to support veterans, the community, as well as host talented local live music for everyone to come and enjoy.
